PUBLIC SPEAKING (ENGLISH 276)

Blog Writting

Assalamualaikum... Firstly, i want to introduce about myself. My name is Noorfariza binti Mohamad (PTM090705170). I was born on 23th April 1991 at Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru. I want to share about my experience while I study with Madam Intan Noorazlina binti Abdul Rahman for the whole of Semester 5. I have been given a few task from Madam Intan Noorazlina that are Informative Speech, Persuasive Speech, Impromptu Speech, Group Discussion, Forum and lastly is Blog Writting.

Here, I want to share my experience for the first task that is Informative Speech. This task provide 20% marks. Madam Intan want each student to share about ourself, the bad habit that no one knows about us like to do. The weird things happened to ourself. So, here the task begin, Madam Intan wanted us to express using Movie Maker and the maximum time is 10 minute. In the Movie Maker i share about myself, about my interest that is I love to dance since I was in primary school. I share about I like to do but no want knows that is I like to shoot picture using my Nikon D5000 when free time. I also shoot my pictures with my photographer crew that I've been known for  a quite long time. After that I share about my hobbies that is playing futsal for the first time and my group won first place. My secondly, I share about travelling to Pulau Kapas that been organized by 'Kelab Pencinta Alam'. It's actually camping for 3 days 2 night. I also share about my destination for honeymoon, about my dream house and about my dream car. 

I felt so happy that all my classmate lend their ears for listening to my story.

Persuasive Speech. Here the second task that carry 20% marks for this task. Madam Intan divided into few groups. Each groups, 2 members only. My partner is Rabiatul Adawiyah binti Abdul Rahman. This task is quite difficult because we need to persuade people to buy our product. Firstly, we want to create soursop juice but our Madam Intan give other suggestion that is to make cucumber juice. So, we decided to make cucumber juice as suggested by Madam Intan. We name our product as Cucumber Juice A&F. The juice actually taste like watermelon and very delicious. So, we persuade people by explaining the benefit of the cucumber juice with other fruit such as Kiwi, Pomegranate, Avocado and also Soursop. The best thing in this persuasive speech is that I can taste all sample product of foods and beverages from the other group.

Impromptu Speech. Here is the third task that give me 10% marks for this task. In this task, I need to talk alone at stage in front of my classmate near the Komasra. This is the first time I felt so shy because every people walk near Komasra will stop and watch what I be doing at the stage. This task that I have been given from Madam Intan Noorazlina is spontaneous and need to talk in 3 minutes. 'My Future Husband', that is the title was given to me. First time I saw the title I have no idea to talk about it. Suddenly, I got my idea to talk about my characteristic of my husband. I love guy that are so gentlemen to meet my parent and my family members sitting together to know each other more. The guy should have a good personality and the most important thing that guy take a good care of my family and myself.


Here we go with the other task. The task is call as Group Discussion. From this task, Madam Intan need 4 members in 1 group to discuss about the topic that have been given from her as spontaneous. We sit together and discuss about this topic in 2 minutes of the title 'The Bad Character while Driving'. This discussion should be discuss around 10 minutes. There are more ideas from my friends like gossiping to talk in front Madam Intan. Our discussion more to fun and enjoy because it is spontaneous.


At last but not least, the last task that we have to do is Forum. Madam Intan asked for this task should be recorded as video and sent to her as soon as possible because this task contain 20% marks. Madam Intan want us to talk about new issues bout nowadays. So my friends and I do about Baby Dumping. In this task, our group name Nurul Suhaiza binti Mazlan, Nur Ain binti Ahmad Asim, Noorfariza binti Mohamad and Rabiatul Adawiyah binti Abdul Rahman.We chosen our title as Baby Dumping because there are too many about teenager dumped their baby. They like lost their mind and so heartless until they can dumped their baby easily from 2nd floor. Slash own flesh blood without no mercy.The case baby dumping are great to make a great forum.


For lastly, I had been asked to do Blog Writting for my last task that give me 10% marks. This is the simplest that and enjoyable task because I just need to write about all assessment that I had done for this Semester for the subject ENG 276. Overall, I very enjoyable done all the assessment that had given to me and very grateful  had sporting and understanding English Lecturer, Madam Intan Noorazlina for this Semester. Thank you Madam...
